Looking Back - past events

August & September 2010: Judith and Carolyn Trant shared their third Open House in Lewes Artwave 2010.

December 2009: New Hope, Brighton: For Gaza, With Naomi Foyle and folksong.

November 2009: At Troubadour with Dannie Abse and John Hedley to launch Best poems on the Underground.

Summer 2009: Lewes Artwave - 'And Other Fairy Tales' . Open House in Lewes Artwave Festival with Carolyn Trant. Featuring paintings, drawings, prints and a special display of Carloyn's Artbooks.

February 28th, 2009: taking part in Ruthin's first Writers' Fair in the beautiful Vale of Clwyd, at Wales' oldest timbered townhouse, Nantclwyd y Dre.

February 22nd, 2009: Reading new poetry at Torriano Reading Rooms, Camden, London.

January 2009: Taking part in Lewes STOP GAZA BLOODSHED. Norman Baker Lewes MP helps us deliver 500 signatures to David Miliband. See my blog for more. I march with many thousands in London and Brighton - and the world - to protest the government's do nothing policy on the war crimes committed by Israelis bombing of Gaza, including dropping white phosphorus on children. See the poem 'Child in Gaza' here, and more about Gaza on recent blogs.

November 2008: 'War and Writing' poetry and prose workshop at Fabrica Gallery for Thomas Hartschon's show on the horrors of war, 'The Incommensurable Banner', Brighton Photobiennial.

October 2008: Rocket FM, talking poetry and politics with Peter Flanagan.

September 2008: Poetry reading in the Needlewriters Series, Lewes.

August 2008: Lewes Art Wave, Open House art show: prints paintings, with Carolyn's Trant's fabulous art books.

Judith's tenth volume, Sister Invention, is published in April 2014, featuring seventy-two poems and a beautiful cover image by Carolyn Trant.

Carolyn Trant says of Clickety Clackety: "Wickedly grim and darkly subversive." Judith's newest book was published in September 2012, following a launch at the Lewes Artwave Festival.

Judith presents Odysseus' journey for a new generation of readers, in a new edition by Waterloo press. More in Books.

George III Handprinted Pamphlet
The replica eighteenth century 8pp pamphlet poem comes in a scarlet, terra cotta or orange jacket. It is a signed limited edition of 50, printed in period type, black on period white on a specially made replica of an eighteenth century printing press.
